There are at least seven bands using the name Mortify. 1) Brutal Death Metal from Canada. 2) Black Metal band from Greece with occult lyrical themes. 3) Brutal Death Metal band from Poland. 4) An obscure swedish metal band featuring Dan Swanö. 5) Swedish HM-2 Style Grindcore formed in 2017 (Tokyo, Japan) 6) Chilean old-school/progressive death metal from Concepción, Bio Bio. Their debut album Mortuary Remains was released in 2017, followed by Fragments at the Edge of Sorrow in 2022.
