Born in Newark, New Jersey, Neako grew up in the infamous "Hoodaville" section of the city. "Growing up in Newark as a kid, you’re just trying to live." says Neako about his upbringing. At the age of thirteen Neako was introduced to creating music and he has not stopped since. After being thrust into a neigborhood cypher, Neako knew then and there that he wanted to become a rapper. His “Rubix Cube” mixtape series (Red Edition, Green Edition
