There are at least three bands named PGR: 1. PGR (Per Grazia Ricevuta or P.G.R. is an Italian formation of three elements: Giovanni Lindo Ferretti, Gianni Maroccolo e Giorgio Canali. They are all ex-components of C.S.I., a formation also led by Giovanni Lindo Ferretti. 2. PGR started life as an industrial group in mid '80s under the Poison Gas Research moniker. Their studio was in a rough area in Oakland. To deter dubious people they affixed a sign with "Poison Gas Research" written on it at the front door.
