“WHEEL OF SORROW” is a melodic progressive heavy metal track that explores repetition, burden, and inner struggle — the feeling of being trapped in cycles that shape pain, endurance, and resolve.more

Vicious Hymn is a raw, confrontational hard rock track rooted in the heavy simplicity of 1980s punk and metal. Written in the early 1990s against the backdrop of high-profile sexual abuse scandals that were shaking public consciousness, the song tackles predatory behavior and its cycle of exploitation head-on — giving voice to both the perpetrator's twisted psychology and the victim's paralysis and fear. The music matches the message: a heavy, driving riff with the no-frills punch of classic punk and metal, now reloaded with a modern edge. The call-and-response chorus — hammering the word Vicious like a battle cry — turns the song into something almost liturgical, hence the hymn. It's not a celebration of darkness, but a brutal examination of it. Decades after it was first written, Vicious Hymn hits just as hard — because the cycle it describes never really stopped. ═══════════════ Thrown down by the likes of me! Cursing your vulnerability! Let down by your society! Brought back to reality! Brought up, to live this way! Worked up, by pornography! Turned on, sometimes too easily! Twisted sexuality… ═══════════════ (Vicious!) Veil of night spins to silver thread, galaxies burn at the edge of dawn – this is “Silver Thread: Dawn Of The Shattered Wings”, my most cinematic Elyria piece so far. Celtic melodies, symphonic choirs and metal riffs collide in a 6:31 min- journey from whisper to supernova. This song tells the story of a fractured cosmos waking up again: ashes remembering fire, broken wings turning into a new dawn. If you love epic soundtracks, Celtic mysticism and emotional metal storytelling, you’re home here. There will be four different versions of this track in 2026 – from full metal epic to orchestral and instrumental – so this is only the beginning of the “Silver Thread” cycle. Experience a captivating visual journey that employs powerful visual storytelling and creative visuals to bring a mystical narrative to life.
