There are three artists using the name Ploy: 1. Ploy is Sam Smith, a.k.a. Samuel, a British techno producer. As Ploy he has been releasing EPs since 2016 on labels such as Timedance, Hessle Audio and Hemlock Recordings. In 2020 he released his debut album Unlit Signals. 2. PLOY is a no-bass band from Prague, Czech Republic, aimed at scaling up their personal renditions of what may be called „fusion“. It consists of three members: Tom Braun (guitar, cello, loops), Mikuláš Čimbura (keys) and Bohdan Karásek (drums, percussion).
