Pond
There are three bands called Pond. 1) Pond is an Perth, Australia band made up of Jay Watson (also of Tame Impala), Nick Allbrook (ex-Tame Impala), Shiny Joe Ryan, Jamie Terry, and James Ireland. Pond is free-spirited psychedelic garage-glam of the highest order from some very young, very talented 'Perth-onalities.' It all presents an opportunity for the members to change instruments more freely live and experiment with recording. Pond is a hard band to pin down--not that you'll want to.

Disillusion
Currents is a psychedelic-pop/ psychedelic band consisting of 3 members. Blue, Zen, and Javonie. 3 kids in high school trying to show the world just a taste of what they can do. Inspired by the greats such as The Beatles, The Doors, The Arctic Monkeys, Jimi Hendrix, and the wonderful Tame Impala. The album's cover is heavily inspired by Tame Impala's 2010 album "Innerspeaker". Currents is a culmination of ideas shared and created by 3 high schoolers who sneak out of class to create music. The music is recorded and produced by Zen. Though the work is created by everyone. They all share their love of music together. Currents work under an independent label where they WILL continue to stay. This is Current's first release, Disillusion. Info about Disillusion Disillusion is a story about Challenging societal norms and belief systems and delving into the concept of reality and our perception of reality. It provokes how we view society and reality by making us realize everything wrong about anything before we truly feel the feeling of disillusionment. It encourages a different perspective on how we see elements of our existence and the feelings one might have after realizing these underlying details. Zen sings about “swimming in our disillusion” which is followed by sitting in pain due to realizing the negative aspects of our reality as a whole. The song repeatedly emphasizes feeling numbness and ache after the realization. The instrumental portion of the song takes you on a trip through the feeling of Disillusionment within the song. The definition of “Disillusion” or “Disillusionment” is to feel something was not as great as once believed to be. Which can be incorporated into our life and existence. "As a species, we have evolved enough to the point where our planet is trashed and ruined. People realize this but don’t fully comprehend that fact. We know living and existing feels good to some extent but when we realize our Planet, Continents, Countries, States. Cities, and even neighborhoods are doomed for the future and currently, it makes us feel horrible realizing that fact". As stated by Blue. The song doesn't explain what it means but the information is inferred. Release date: January 31st, 2024 Working title: For now The demo for Disillusion was created sometime between January 16-18 2024 The acoustic demo recording was recorded on January 19, 2024. The acoustic demo was performed by Blue and Zen where they there brainstormed further ideas with what soon became Disillusion Quotes from the artists: “The message behind disillusion is beautiful, not just because of the depressing picture it paints, but the bit I sing closing each phrase "for now". Because all pain is temporary and everything always gets better. Lyrically anyway, that’s the bit I love to focus on myself.” - ZEN "The song is fun throughout, the message, how it sounds, helping create it, and even playing it is so much fun. I think that's the beauty behind music creation, It's all so fun" - Blue FIND US ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIAS @Currents.music - Mastered by Mixea.commore
