Fade Back to Black
A cold, late-night confessional set against foggy shoreline streets and empty industrial spaces. The track moves at a slow, anxious pulse, with dusty drums and heavy sub carrying a raw, close-mic vocal that feels more like an internal monologue than a performance. The narrator circles through tension, self-critique, and quiet collapse, repeating fragments like “back again” and “back to black” as both habit and surrender. It’s less about drama and more about atmosphere—streetlights, wet concrete, and the sound of breath in a silent room—ending not in resolution, but in a calm, familiar darkness.more

doing everything right
Some records don’t arrive as a celebration — they arrive as proof. doing everything right is getting a lot of attention. “another year like this” is the core of Quiet Weight: a project built around endurance, inner noise, and that quiet kind of strength you don’t post about. It’s for the moments when you’re doing everything right on paper… and it still feels heavy. When you’re holding things together, paying the bills, showing up, staying calm — but your mind won’t stop running, and nowhere really feels like home. This track lives in the fog/steel space: restrained, cinematic, and honest without turning life into spectacle. No hype. No perfect ending. Just presence. The kind you earn by making it through another night, another week, another year like this — and choosing to keep going anyway. If you’ve ever felt like you’re carrying weight nobody notices… this is for you. Drop a “Still Here” in the comments if it hits, and share it with someone who’s been moving quietly through the dark. — Quiet Weight x PHFQmore
