Richard Ramnarine stepped into the music industry at age 12 as the dholak and tabla drummer with his family band, Dil-e-Nadan. He then went on to play percussion instruments. His thirst to take this band to a higher level was overwhelming and Ramnarine was appointed manager, by his father. He works alongside his musical brothers, Rennie and Raymond Ramnarine. Ramnarine moved from the percussion instruments and started playing live drums — it was his dream come true.
