1. SAFE is just Chris Edley, multi-media artist and apparent poultry enthusiast. Story goes that after living in New York, doing art for all the MGMT videos and even co-directing Saul Williams' "Convict Colony" clip, dude went broke and moved back to the East Bay, where he made the SAFE album in a basement with limited means. CF Edley is the only true Safe. All other bands called "Safe" are unsafe. 2.Safe is a project produced and arranged by John Amatiello, Kristian Lundin, Max Martin, Alexander Cronlund, and Herbie Crichlow.
