Gregory E. Jacobs (August 25, 1963-April 22, 2021), known by the stage names Shock G and Humpty Hump, was an American musician and rapper. He is perhaps best known as the head vocalist for the rap group Digital Underground, most popular in the early 1990s.
Jacobs spent most of his childhood moving around the East Coast with his family, eventually settling in the Bay Area of California. He dropped out of high school in the late 1970s and spent several years pursuing a life of crime before eventually finishing his degree and attending college
