The Sacred Cowboys are a band that began in Melbourne, Australia in 1982. There has been numerous incarnations of the band from that time up until the present. The one constant has been vocalist and lyricist Garry Gray. Other members over the years have included Mark Ferrie (bass, guitar), Terry Doolan (guitar, backing vocals, record production), Ian Forrest (guitar, synth), Andrew Picouleau (bass), Janis 'Johnny Crash' Friedenfelds (drums), Nick Rischbieth (bass)
