"Safar" - or journey - is a Hindi alternative rock band which began its journey in early 2007. The members of this band are in their early 20s and their thought process is a combination of western music coupled with the flavor of Indian classical music -- the end product being an alternative style to Hindi rock. Safar has been formulated after almost a year of research and composition tasks by its members and have surfaced on the Hindi rock stage moving audiences wherever they performed.
