Shred was formed in 2004 by Mario Ellis (Vox & Guitar) and Seb Langkamer (Lead Guitar). They were then Joined By Jed Taylor (Bass) and Sam Crossley (Drums). Unfortunatley sam was not working with the band and was kicked out. Shred (then under the name of Speed Metal) were on hiatus for a few years. In mid 2006 Shred found their drummer, Mike Parrot. The band have played a few gigs since they accquired Mike and have been working on their EP, big squeaky dog EP.
