Sloper is the new band of two esteemed rock drummers from Europe's Low Countries: Cesar Zuiderwijk (of Holland's Golden Earring) and Mario Goossens (of Belgium's Triggerfinger). They had been fans of each other (and each other's bands) for quite some time. They recruited the British guitarist and singer Peter Shoulder (of Winterville, The Union and Silverthorne) and Belgian session guitarist Fabio Canini - and started a musical demolition company of sorts: the name Sloper means 'Demolisher' in Dutch and Flemish.
