I wrote Cold Room Silence because I've spent enough time around people to know that most of us are carrying far more than we let on.
We tell people we're okay because it's easier than explaining what's really going on.
We go to work.
We pay the bills.
We smile for photographs.
We keep moving.
Meanwhile, relationships strain, anxiety builds, grief lingers, finances weigh heavily, and the noise inside our heads gets louder.
The song came from that place.
It's about the fragile parts of ourselves that we're constantly trying to protect while life keeps taking swings at us. It's about the gap between what people see and what we actually feel. It's about those moments when you feel isolated, even in a room full of people.
I didn't write Cold Room Silence to offer solutions.
I wrote it because sometimes the most powerful thing music can do is remind someone they're not the only one fighting a battle nobody else can see.more
