Atmospheric ambience with a groove backbone Neil Butler has been experimenting with music technology since his early teens originally inspired by artists such as Ozric Tentacles, the Orb and Banco de Gaia and more latterly Shpongle and OTT. This has led to a slow evolution of the Spatialize sound which is starting to become highly distinctive, with people already commenting on "that sweet, organic Spatialize sound". Ambient and floating but also strong and sonic and highly influenced by Neil's frequent globe-trotting.
