There are at least five bands & one rapper named Syringe: 1) Chase MacArthur Cauthen, experimental rapper from Prince George's County, Maryland. Formerly known as Syringe, he now goes by Sybyr. He is often cited as a pioneer of the trap metal genre; a more extreme, distorted, industrial-sounding subgenre of modern trap. He is a co-founder and member of Anti-World, a collective previously known as WeirdCLVN and Weird Melodicians. 2) A progressive death metal band.
