The Locust are a band formed in 1994 in San Diego, USA. They are known for their unique mix of grindcore speed and aggression, complexity, and new wave weirdness. They take inspiration from powerviolence (Crossed Out, Dropdead), experimental rock (Art Bears, Renaldo and the Loaf), and death metal.
The Locust was formed by Justin Pearson, Bobby Bray, Dylan Scharf, Dave Warshaw, and Dave Astor. After a number of personnel changes, they arrived at their current four-piece lineup in 2001

Blanket Rhymes
This song, "Blanket Rhymes," comes from an album I recorded and completed around mid to late December of 2023 and released in January 2024. This song was inspired by the work of Hypnaogic Pop artists such as Dean Blunt, John Maus, and James Ferraro.
The instruments used were an Acoustic Guitar and a Roland JD-XI, which is an analog-digital hybrid synthesizer.
I hope you all enjoy it.more

just another memory
This is a track from my debut album "None of you are real". This album serves as a harsh message about the reality of living with mental illness, the four tracks are based off my depression spells. This song is the most calm as the albums sound decomposes throughout the runtime of the four tracks. The album also has 3 bonus tracks of demos from the recording sessions.
I did everything myself, including the artworkmore
