There is more than artist called The Life. 1.) The Life is the project of New York City based singer and producer Curtis Pawley. He draws from the 80s art pop of Peter Gabriel, the nocturnal landscapes of The Blue Nile, the songwriting of the Great American Songbook, and the bombastic vocal-driven music of everyone from Taylor Swift to Boyz II Men. Elevated by Pawley's contemporary vocal layering and manipulation, The Life’s widescreen, panoramic pop music acknowledges a swath of influences while feeling entirely rooted in the present.
