Progressive rock band leaning more towards jazz than classical. Bruford's best drumming up to that time. Jobson, on both violin and keyboards, works well with Holdsworth's guitar playing. Musically, not far below Fragile-era Yes or the first edition of the Mahavishnu Orchestra.
John Wetton (vocals, bass), Bill Bruford (drums), Eddie Jobson (keyboards, violin) and Allan Holdsworth (guitar) formed U.K in July of 1977. Wetton had played with Bruford in King Crimson and Jobson in Roxy Music.
