The name White has been used several times. WHITE (1) was formed in 2014. The Scottish five-piece share a passion for the musical adventures of fellow Scots Orange Juice and Franz Ferdinand, whilst also drawing on the frenetic playing of Gang Of Four and the unconventional pop of Roxy Music. Frontman Leo Condie’s vocals are theatrical in the best way possible, never overshadowing the precise and lean musicianship on show. Jagged guitar is offset by soaring synth lines whilst Kirstin Lynn’s drumming drives the track forward.
