My Kinda Girl
Paying homage to the classics sounds of Motown She moves down the street with a smile and a beer She’s looking at everybody who is trying not to stare Her smile is the melody you play rhythms to in a dream singing along she laughs like she knows just what you mean She’s my kinda girl, a vision to behold She walks with a purpose never doing what she’s told She doesn’t play fair, she doesn’t’ play by the rules She walks like fire while the ground below her cools She’s my kinda girl She’s my kinda girl Every eye is upon her drawing hopes and sweet despair She’s looking at everybody who is trying not to stare The water seems inviting though you know what lies below the danger looks exciting the place you’re willing to go She’s my kinda girl, a vision to behold She walks with a purpose never doing what she’s told She doesn’t play fair, she doesn’t’ play by the rules She walks like fire while the ground below her cools She’s my kinda girl She’s my kinda girl You can’t take your eyes off her as you study her every move It stirs something primitive an instinct you can’t refuse Every eye is upon her drawing hopes and sweet despair She’s looking at everybody who is trying not to stare Her smile is the melody you play rhythms to in a dream singing along she laughs like she knows just what you mean She’s my kinda girl, a vision to behold She walks with a purpose never doing what she’s told She’s my kinda girl She’s my kinda girl lyrics co=written with Bob Intinimore

Roadblock
I ran into a roadblock Which could be my middle name My life was in danger But I accept none of the blame I should have walked away And left the way I came Heading straight towards The west sunset horizon The black tar moving backwards Up ahead, I saw some lights That made me stop my truck A roadblock has been set up My clock started ticking and now I'm about to run out of luck I shot a man in self defense He was trying to collect he said Money that was owe to him And recover a lost debt In a case of mistaken identity I had to make a choice to end his life On the first day we ever met I ran into a roadblock Which could be my middle name. My life was in danger I accept some of the blame I could have walked away And left the way I came Many eyes were upon me As he was grasping his last breath My gun was still smoking From the bullet that caused his death Witnesses came forward And said I was the one Who killed this poor man That sent me on the run I had no other choice. But to go on the lam My picture has been posted. And now they know my name I'm about to face injustice From the towns ruthless lawman Who never backs down and enjoys his notorious fame My life's been full of stumbles. It seems I can’t escape Many times, face down in the gutter In another drunken state With my many past mistakes I'm heading toward that Roadblock To learn my latest fate I ran into some roadblock Which is my middle name My life was in danger But I accept all the blame I should have walked away And left the way I came Song written by Gary Grassomore

Back To The Days of Old
Memories dancing in the shadow of the moon They race up the street and into my room They ask for forgiveness for leaving too soon While I sit here in my chair There’s just enough light to spare As I look for the days of old The ones that live in my soul Don’t recognize this place I’m in Everyone eye to eye with their phone They talk without ever looking up Your in a crowd but still all alone I sit back in my chair and see The way things used to be Back when we were young and bold Makes me hunger for the days of old Drop a coin in the juke box And spin those 45’s Grab your girlfriends and your wives We’re gonna dance until the morning arrives Bring me back to the days of old Take me back just one more time Back to the winters heat and summers cold Take me back to the days of my prime Back to the days of old Back to the days of old Closing my eyes I’m back to the days of old Memories dancing in the shadow of the moon They race up the street and into my room They ask for forgiveness for leaving too soon It wasn’t the price of eggs It wasn’t the price of gas It was the way we woke in the morning To the smell of fresh cut grass It was the way we looked out for each other The way we helped each other get by The way we walked together And the way we talked eye to eye Drop a coin in the juke box And spin those 45’s Grab your girlfriends and your wives We’re gonna dance until the morning arrives Bring me back to the days of old Take me back just one more time Back to the winters heat and summers cold Take me back to the days of my prime Back to the days of old Back to the days of old Closing my eyes I’m back to the days of old lyrics co-written with Bob Intinimore
