1) Songwriter Willem Evers discovered the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) by accident. Blown away by the magical sound of ELO he instantly decided to write new music in ELO-style and form a band to perform these new songs with. The band was to be called AlternativA. In just 2 months Willem wrote 19 ELO-inspired songs and selected 14 to be on the first AlternativA album called: A Night In Starlight, released in mid 2005.
