Black Feather Static
NOT YET RELEASED: A dark anthem for anyone who has ever felt invisible. This song lives in the space between abandonment and survival- the quiet loneliness of watching people leave, learning to disappear, and choosing to stay anyway. Not healed. Not saved. Still here. "I stayed."more

Not Your Fire
Not Your Fire by Moon in Ashes 🌙 is a dark Gothic rock anthem about breaking free from emotional self-sacrifice and reclaiming your identity after years of burning for everyone else. The song explores manipulation, exhaustion, survival, and the realization that love should never require you to destroy yourself to keep others warm. Blending gritty post-grunge energy with cinematic emotion, the track moves from quiet suffering into fierce defiance. Through imagery of fire, ash, monsters, and survival, the narrator refuses to stay small, silent, or useful at the expense of her own soul. At its core, Not Your Fire is about choosing truth over approval, boundaries over self-erasure, and finally learning how to save yourself.more

BECOMING
A song about soul recognition more than romance alone -two people moving through distance, pain, time, and growth while still carrying an invisible connection to each other. It has that feeling of longing without desperation… spiritual closeness without needing possession. This song lives in the tension between grief and grace, separation and return, silence and recognition. Every lyric is written like a lantern carried through the dark: soft enough to comfort, honest enough to haunt. 🌙more
