Counterparts are a Canadian melodic metalcore band. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Brendan Murphy, guitarists Blake Hardman and Adrian Lee , bassist Brian Kaczmarczyk and drummer Kyle Brownlee. The band's most recent two albums have received critical acclaim from magazines Rock Sound and Exclaim!. They were released through Victory Records.
Counterparts formed in Hamilton, Ontario in 2007, under the name "Brigade", later "Sharia" before settling on Counterparts.

Sharing my band's debut track we released a couple days ago. We are a metallic hardcore band from Singapore. I guess an FFO for our music would be END, Converge, Nails, Lifesick and similar bands who rock the buzzsaw/HM-2 sound. Our track was also mastered by Will Putney, if you're familiar with the modern metal production world. Cheers.more
