Dirtybird, a bona fide genre drifter and indecisive vinyl addict, has been a relentless electronic music fan for the past 15 years. her journey to denver and then back to chicago in the late 90s marked the beginning of dirtybird's obsession with sharing a unique blend of sounds that had soul, regardless of genre. denver's newly thriving scene infected dirtybird, and by the time she moved back to chicago she was consumed. it felt natural to buy some decks and start creating her own music.
