Drowning
Early access to an unreleased country ballad duet by JR Crowe and Lila Ellis. Lyrics: She never got a chance to live How do I go back to the life we had Do I even have more love to give What did I do wrong Where did I fail How can she already be gone I see the pain behind your eyes You hold strong for our son As we say our own goodbyes The world's turned dark Drained of light How could I not protect her I didn't get a chance to fight Each time we near the surface The undertoe rises up Pulling us back into the darkness But we can't give up Lungs burn as we drown I'm so tired of swimming up Tired of wearing these frowns We'll rise from the deep Keep fightin' each day This love we will keep It'll never fade Kick us while we're down We'll never drown We'll fight through this frown Rise and reclaim the crown I fight each day To keep the business alive Through the struggle and pain one day we will again thrive I try keep our home together But things don't feel the same For our son I want better He knows you love him with all your heart He sees the pain you have inside We all got demons ripping' us apart I'm tired of the pain - tired of the fight I wonder what is next - I just want something to go right Each time we near the surface The undertoe rises up Pulling us back into the darkness But we can't give up Lungs burn as we drown I'm so tired of swimming up Tired of wearing these frowns We'll rise from the deep Keep fightin' each day This love we will keep It'll never fade Kick us while we're down We'll never drown We'll fight through this frown Rise and reclaim the crown One thing they can never take The love we carry and the rest we make I'll never stop fighting for you and our boy My love only grows I know we will find joy I'll take on as much as you need I'll share the load Together - We will bleed We'll rise from the deep Keep fightin' each day This love we will keep It'll never fade Kick us while we're down We'll never drown We'll fight through this frown Rise and reclaim the crown Rise and reclaim the crownmore
