Goto80
With roots in both catchy and extreme music plus an unhealthy obsession with errors and variation, Goto80 delivers eclectic music based on 8-bit technology. During 15 years he has released hundreds of songs on vinyl, CD’s, cassettes and floppy disks but also for movies, games and art projects. Starting in the demoscene, he gained recognition outside of geek culture in 2001 with the Papaya EP. He’s on a never ending mission to look beyond the video game romantics and explore genres such as ambient

Hexadecimal Genome
Bit of an oldie, but I feel like it's maybe got a little staying power. Produced on an off-the-shelf Nintendo Game Boy using the Little Sound DJ tracker software. And an FYI for any physical-format music enthusiasts & collectors — the EP this track is from (titled Information Chase) has just been pressed to vinyl too, with a really cool die-cut sleeve. More info & ordering options on my Bandcamp page.more

Departure
What can I say? I'm a sucker for this kind of music. Once I found the guitar sample, this one came together pretty fast. One of my personal favorites so far.more
