MENDEL is Dutch metal guitarist Mendel Bij de LEIJ (born 1988). He is a member of metal bands such as Escadron, Bloodline and has been a live performer with Aborted and System Divide. In 2012, he set off on his own to record his first solo effort, titled ''Subliminal Colors'', which combines his thrash metal roots with neo-classical and SYMPHONY X-esque power/progressive influences as well.
