Born from the ashes of Ho-kage Tea Time, onlinefriends are a self described "weeb emo" band that plays a mix of Midwest emo and pop punk without being afraid to throw in the occasional chiptune interlude, synth break or scream. onlinefriends is an experimental emo band formed in 2019 by Kayne Jacques, and now has members all across the continental United States. Aside from emo, their music also contains elements of pop punk, electronic, post-hardcore, and metal. They are currently signed to Messenger Bag Records.
