This is the story of a girl… No, seriously. I met a girl, she is really cool, she makes my life easier, we get along. This is a story of appreciation for her. This is also the first time I’ve written a track with no screaming or any kind of breakdown outside of rock style breakdowns in nearly ten years. Born from playing pop rock guitar tracks, this song was an attempt to capture how she makes me feel, as well as try new editing and mixing techniques, and is holistically, in my opinion, my best song yet. Tell me... Does it Slap? We live a life within a beautiful spectrum of light and dark. There are days where the light is boundless and the warmth knows no end. There are days where the darkness wraps us in it's inky nocturnal wonderland, and the cold no longer matters.
