Searows is the indie folk project of Alec Duckart (he/him). Alec was born March 2, 2000 in Lexington, Kentucky, and raised in Portland, Oregon, where he still lives. In 2020 Alec was a finalist in SoundOff!, a regional competition for young musicians hosted by Seattle's Museum of Pop Culture (MOPOP). Following this, Alec was invited to perform at Timber! Outdoor Music Fest in 2020 (cancelled due to COVID) and 2022. Some major influences include Phoebe Bridgers, Sufjan Stevens and Adrianne Lenker.
