I made this in January of 2024 in reference to ekkstacy. I was feeling like a lot had come and gone, memories were left in the past and now life had changed. I was about to enter a new year I could have never imagined I was entering. With a hopeless romantic vibe, this song touches on the subject of fantasy and hollow promises, while carrying a haunting melody. Short and sweet. Enjoy <3 !! "Neon Demon explores the theme of addiction, illustrating how anything pursued in excess—be it food, video games, religion, sex, or drugs—can become an overpowering parasitic force that consumes one's soul. In the music video, the ketamine trip reveals the harsh reality of Ethan's toxic relationship; the succubus serves as a metaphor for both the destructive influence of drug use and the toxic woman, whose presence paralyzes and devours his well-being."more
