Shadow of Intent is a Technical / Melodic Deathcore band based primarily in Milford, Connecticut. The band currently consists of Ben Duerr (vocals), Chris Wiseman (Guitar, Synth), Anthony Barone (Drums), and Andrew Monias (Bass).
The band was formed in 2014 as an internet-based project between vocalist Ben Duerr and instrumentalist Chris Wiseman. The band released their first EP called "Inferi Sententia" on July 18, 2014 and continued writing more music for the album that would be called "Primordial".

Today we present you our new song Jinxed! 💜 Its a pretty heavy Metalcore/Deathcore track, which is about depression caused by domestic violence, for example. In general, there are many triggers for depression, which can of course be manifold. We have chosen the above example for the lyrics.
The artwork is based on the Celtic triqueta, which stands for body, soul, spirit and their balance. In the middle is a semicolon, which has become another common symbol for depression. Depression blurs the lines of body, mind and soul, even breaking them, which stands for the resulting imbalance.more
