Softcult
Softcult is sisters Mercedes (guitar/vocals) and Phoenix (drums/vocals/production) Arn-Horn. The band began dropping single tracks in early 2021, and released their first EP, Year Of The Rat, on April 16, 2021. Citing Bikini Kill as a major influence, the band takes the ethos of the riot grrrl movement and mixes it with shoegaze, grunge, and dreampop influences. Squarely feminist, the music addresses endemic issues of abuse, assault, harassment, misogyny, and social and gender norms as well as mental health.

Our new song “Armor” lays out the struggle of knowing God’s truth but still wrestling with doubt, dry seasons, and spiritual battles. It's about feeling stuck and weighed down, but we want to remind you to flip that frustration into hope by pointing back to Jesus, the unshakable rock. We want you to lift it all up, and shout to the Lord with boldness, knowing His love never hesitates. This is a battle cry. There's no condemnation, no fear, just unbreakable confidence in Christ.more

Lovely (Radio Edit)
Our debut single, “Lovely,” is a bold reminder of God’s relentless love. It asks, “Who paints the stars and then calls me lovely?” a line that echoes the heart of our message: even when we run or hide, God pursues us still. His love is unwavering, and His grace, unfathomable.
