Teebo was formed by Tom Coogan as a riposte to his former allies Lando. At the peak of his cynicism, he found a like mind in bassplayer Gareth Crane. Trapped for a year in a small town, the sporadic rehearsals became a vent for the duo's frustrations at their listless lives. A succession of drummers came and went. Adrift in a sea of negativity, Coogan knew things had to change. Even as musical differences led to internal conflict, he sought to regain his idealism and explore more accessible, optimistic sounds.
