Several artists are currently known as The Requiem: 1. The death metal band from Cincinnati, Ohio. 2. The alt-rock/emo/post-hardcore band from Broward County, Florida. Damien, Felipe and Salem split from the five-piece post-hardcore band L'exquisite Douleur in August 2023 and founded the alt-rock band The Requiem (The Requiem rebranded themselves late august 2023, before it was a quintet known as L’exquisite Douleur, the line up changed but some of their old materials could still be released.)
