There are at least eight bands by this name: 1) Volcano is a punk/folk/reggae supergroup band, formed by Meat Puppets frontman Curt Kirkwood, Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh, and session musicians Mike Stand and Jon Poutney. They have released only one album (with a cheap, hand-drawn inkpen front cover drawn by Curt), which quickly sold out at Skunk records, followed by only eight concerts in support of the release. Currently, its only available form is a downloadably zip file on an mp3 site. The band split up after the album was released.
