Zako is the solo acoustic project of Katherine Alt. Formed in the fall of 2007, Zako has had several transient members. Heavily influenced by Cat Power's Chan Marshall, Zako's vocals are deep yet feminine, offering a refreshing twist on the classic basement acoustic sound.
