Τρύπες (Trypes, pronounced: Tree-pes), which translates in English as "Holes", were an acclaimed greek rock band. Members come from Thessaloniki, Greece. Τρύπες was created in 1983 when Γιώργος Καρράς (Giorgos Karras) and Γιάννης Αγγελάκας (Giannis Aggelakas) wrote their first, post-punk influenced lyrics. Μιχάλης Κανατίδης (Michalis Kanatidis) on guitar and Κώστας Φλωροσκούφης (Kostas Floroskoufis) on drums accompanied them at their first appearance.
