Chata (茶太, born November 21 in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan) is a vocalist, lyricist, and illustrator. She began her musical career in 1998 collaborating with other artists to make unofficial (dôjin) music for anime and video games. She became well known for her innocent yet lusty voice. She has been a member of the dôjin music circles Usagi Kinoko (ウサギキノコ), mysoundlife (with iyuna), and idea (with Eiichirô Yanagi 柳英一郎). She debuted as a solo artist with her album +誓い+ in 2003.
