銀杏BOYZ (Ging Nang Boyz) is a legendary Japanese punk band, and the successor to the members' previous band GOING STEADY. Similar to the former band, the main themes in 銀杏BOYZ's music are love and boredom; their style is often referred to as 「青春パンク」, which translates to "youth punk". As the genre implies, the majority of the band's fanbase consists of young adolescents. 銀杏BOYZ was formed in early 2003 by vocalist/guitarist 峯田和伸 (Mineta Kazunobu) shortly after the breakup of his band GOING STEADY
