Kazuya Takase (高瀬一矢, born August 8) is a Japanese composer, lyricist, and producer. He is the founder and one of the main composers in the I've Sound circle. He grew up playing music -- his father was a middle school music teacher and Takase learned to play the piano beginning at age 3. In high school, he formed a rock cover band that played songs by artists such as Masayoshi Takanaka (高中正義) and Judas Priest. He additionally taught himself to play pop covers on piano and developed an interest in recording during that time.
