I was in deep thoughts on the goodness of God towards me from birth till everyday of my life. I discovered I couldn't express my gratitude in mere words, so I decided to put it in song. I tried but still couldn't find the right words to use. I searched and searched but His faithfulness left me speechless. All I could hear myself call Him was "OBINIGWE" (then, I didn't know the meaning). I had to ask if that word "OBINIGWE" exists, though I was sure it sounds like the Igbo language (One of Nigeria's dialect). And that was how I conceived this song.
