This is my first release. Rebuilt from Dust, is about finding connection again. About how the kindness of one neighbour, who helped me remember that I still belong somewhere by welcoming me into their close circle of friends. If this track reaches even one person who needs it, that’s more than enough for me. After losing my dad, my marriage broke down. I was diagnosed with FND and chronic pain, and I’ve spent the last 4 years in a wheelchair. At one point I was in temporary housing, battling severe depression, and didn’t know if I could carry on. Writing lyrics got me through. It gave me a way to breathe when everything felt too heavy. Eventually I started using AI tools to help shape those lyrics into full songs, not to replace the heart, but to give sound to what I couldn’t play or sing myself. It’s still me. It’s my story.
