Heart of Mist: an epic ballad amid mist, love, and destiny
With Heart of Mist, I return to my classical roots: the epic nature of classical music, ancient impossible love, and the beauty of stories told in the warmth of time. The new song stands as the centerpiece of my artistic universe, where music and literature walk together, unhurriedly, as they used to do in the past.
Directly inspired by my future novel Corazón de Niebla, the song tells the story of two souls united by a bond stronger than fear, war, and distance. Heart of Mist is not just a song. I was afraid because the song consists of six minutes of instrumental and vocals, and I thought it might be too heavy for the audience, but at the same time I felt very excited to share something that has always been with me, classical music, and that is why in this single the classical and the contemporary merge to bring a little more of that nostalgia that is what the album is about.
The production focuses on the organic and the timeless, where nothing is superfluous, nothing is rushed. Every note breathes nostalgia, every silence weighs heavily. In a fast-paced world, Heart of Mist decides to stay, breathe, look back, and remember that the stories that matter are felt, not consumed.
With this release, I declare myself an artist who does not follow trends.
Heart of Mist is for those who still believe in enduring love, in stories that hurt, and in music that leaves its mark.
Because some stories are not forgotten; they just turn into mist.
Here's something in the language of the kingdoms of Heart of Mist (which you will soon learn about and which I invented myself):
“Noarielae shen vaelûn.
Lumaeth irai shaenor.
Thirrael en-koaen,
saelûn thirae elyeth.”
Translation: “The fog holds what once was.
The bond still breathes.
Time passes silently,
but the promise remains.”
