The EP this is from tells the story of two robots named Bob and Nod. This is the third track of the story where they are trying to obtain THE gadget that will save the world from their arch nemesis named Fad. They succeed...giving it this song's feel as they giddily soar away through the stars on their space speeder full of smiles. Think 70's Heavy-Metal animation while you listen. This is the track that kicked off the whole EP. While experimenting with fat synth sounds, beats, and fretless bass I came up with this riff that reminded me of old Fad Gadget stuff...the story for the concept EP came to me while working up this track. more
