For “I Saw Mothman,” I wanted to create the feeling of an old-fashioned ghost story set in West Virginia, while turning it into a song. I wanted it to feel eerie, mysterious, and a little fun, like someone telling you about the strangest thing they’ve ever seen. I added thunder and echo effects throughout the song to make it feel even more atmospheric, like you’re right there in the middle of this creepy West Virginia story. I wanted the music and sound effects to bring the Mothman legend to life instead of just telling it through the lyrics.more

You Can't Live a Double Life | English Version | The Phoenix Realization | Parallel Universe You Can't Live a Double Life by The Phoenix Realization is the English version of the original Spanish song “En Doble Vida No Se Puede Estar,” reimagined for the Parallel Universe album. The song explores the consequences of living a destructive double life—whether caused by harmful habits, dangerous choices, unhealthy relationships, deception, or a lifestyle that slowly takes control of who you are. But the message isn't about permanently condemning someone for their past. You Can't Live a Double Life is also about recognizing what is happening, accepting the consequences of your choices, rebuilding your life, and continuing forward even when society still judges you according to the person you used to be. The original Spanish version developed its own distinctive character. This English version preserves the meaning, energy and musical identity of En Doble Vida No Se Puede Estar, while allowing the lyrics and vocals to naturally take on a different personality in English. Check out the Spanish version here: https://slaps.com/track/U2bLqRJ3 Two languages. Two versions. The same warning. The same possibility of change.
