MARDIUU

Melbourne, Australia

MARDI.UU is an independent artist from Melbourne, Australia, making music without much interest in staying inside one genre. Rap, rock, electronic, country, psych, club music — if it works, it works. Alongside MARDI.UU, he remains the drummer for Riff Raiders and previously spent years playing and recording with The Cocoa Jacksons, Underground Hound and Thee Wylde Oscars. Primarily a drummer, he also contributed bass and guitar while producing and recording extensively across those projects. That live-band and studio background now feeds into music that moves freely between guitars, beats, electronics and whatever else the song needs. The debut project PRACTICE is the starting point: different genres, different moods, same artist. MARDI.UU isn’t trying to fit neatly into a scene or manufacture a genre identity. The point is to keep making records, follow the idea wherever it goes, and let the catalogue explain itself. Independent music from Melbourne.
