Growing up living in Daytona Beach, classic rock had been a major influence on me musically. One of the influences is Central Florida native Tom Petty. To me, the uplifting upbringings in his songs were no match for any other musician I've ever heard. When I listened to his track "Learning To Fly" with The Heartbreakers, I already knew I wanted to make a cover of this song. Singing isn't really my best talent but I wanted to take a crack at it to delve into the true meaning of this song. We're all learning to fly as human beings in this world. And I'm still learning how to sing lol. more
